Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Rite Aid
Albertsons is having a great Quaker sale right now and it is even better if you have $1/1 coupons from the 01/03 Red Plum (insert in Sunday paper). If you buy 5 instant oatmeal (on sale for $2.50, reg. $4.29), you automatically get $3 off, making them $1.90 each. Then, with the $1/1 coupons (must use 5 for this scenario), the total ends up being $4.50. THEN, a catalina prints off for $3 off of your next order (shopping trip). SO, in the end, each oatmeal cost $0.30!
Quaker Oatmeal
$2.50 x 5 = $12.50
-$3 instantly for buying 5
-$1/1 coupons from 1/3 RP x 5
TOTAL OOP $4.50
Recieve a $3 Catalina for next purchase
TOTAL PRICE $1.50 or $0.30 each
SAVED $16.95
Fred Meyer had some great weekly sales (just from the weekly ad). They had Cuties clementines for $4.98 for a 5 pound box. I know that a couple of weeks ago, I paid $6.49 for a 5 pound bag at Costco, and I am pretty sure that they were around $7.50 or $8 at Safeway a few weeks ago. So this is a really good deal on clementines (especially Cuties-they are so yummy!). They also had an in store coupon for Chicken of the Sea Tuna 3/$1 (limit 9).
2-5 pound boxes of clementines
$9.96
9 cans of tuna
$3
TOTAL OOP $12.96
SAVED $4.11 (this does not reflect the savings on clementines since it didn't show the non sale price)
Rite Aid had some pretty good deals this week. I actually went to get some more of the deals that they had advertised, but they were out of everything (this is the way it has been for the last couple of weeks toward the end of the sale week-must go on Sunday morning to get the sale stuff usually :( ). But I read about a deal on Ester C on another blog yesterday that wasn't super advertised, so they still had those in stock. Here is the breakdown on those:
Ester-C
$5.99 each, on sale Buy One Get One Free
-$2/1 coupon from here x 2 (after the first one prints, hit your back button to print another up to 2)
-$1/1 Rite Aid Video Values coupon from here
Tax $0.52
TOTAL OOP $1.51
SAVED $10.99
Total OOP today $18.97
-$3 Catalina = $15.97
SAVED $32.05
Cutting it close to my half off goal, but like I said earlier, this "savings" amount does not reflect what savings I got for the clementines. :)
